Christiamilda Correa is a lifelong resident of Jersey City, New Jersey. She is a graduate of New York University, Tisch School of the Arts (BFA, Drama '07). Proud of her Puerto Rican ancestry, Christie is Co-Founder of The Movement Theatre Company. The mission is to create and support diverse representations for people of color in the media and the arts .
She is an actress/singer, writer and model working to become a critically acclaimed performer. Besides artistic pursuits, Christiamilda loves the outdoors. She was the first female president of the Boy Scouts of America Venture Crew, and in two years earned the highest distinction, Silver Award. She developed skills in high adventure activities such as canoeing, camping, hiking, kayaking and snowboarding, even self-financing a trip to the World Scout Jamboree in London ('07) and Nothern Tier wilderness canoeing in the Great Lakes ('05).
